Santorini is one of the most famous and most popular islands in the world.

Known for its history, culture and because of the destruction of the Volcano of Thera. The island offers a number of old volcanoes, beaches and wild beauty. Named from the ancient Thiran, a Spartan who first colonized the island. The island also has 6 bays, with numerous hot springs.

On the island we recommend that you see the red shore, the coast of Perissa, the Ancient Thira city and the orthodox monastery of Prophet Elias. Also see on Oia town the Amoudi sandy beach, boat trip to Nea Kameni in the hot springs of the volcano, the journey to the Thyrasia and the old Byzantine castle. At Fira see the Museum of Prehistoric Thira Museum and the Hall of Gizis.

 In addition to Santorini quaint narrow streets, simple and unique architecture and atmosphere, you can enjoy rides donkeys, water sports - skiing - windsurfing, pedal boats and trips to the islands, hot springs, volcanoes etc.

The average temperature range from 11 degrees Celsius (52F) in January to 26 degrees (79F) during July and August. Tourism in Santorini lasts mainly from May to October with peak months in July and August.

Santorini can be reached by plane directly or via the airport of Athens and by ferry from Piraeus and Crete.
